About Author

Tanga C. Elam is a certified Woman Minority Veteran CEO of RN Math Excellence, LLC. She is also certified as a Mental Health First-Aider USA. She is highly skilled as an intensive care travel nurse, licensed in seven states for the past twenty-five years. Ms. Elam has taught as an adjunct instructor in the Allied Health Science nursing program for five years. She holds a master’s degree in health service administration and a bachelor’s in public health education with a minor in management from Central Michigan University. She also received a second Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Clayton State University. To complete her education, she also earned an associate degree in science and a licensed practical nursing certificate from Mott Community College. She has an unpublished thesis titled, “Aspirin Therapy Can Improve Hypertension in Women with Cardiovascular Disease.” Ms. Elam wrote her first book Intravenous Math Workbook to Reduce Medication Errors which included application-based practice examples utilizing the x-factor guidelines. Ms. Elam was awarded a third-place certificate for excellence in communicating a well-developed business plan from Florida’s Veterans Entrepreneurship nine-week program. Reading spiritual books and relaxing near a beautiful koi pond makes her life amazing and more.
